Why We Don’t Use “Jump to Recipe” Buttons

At Eathenet.com, we do things a little differently. Sure, you’ll find delicious, well-tested recipes here—but you’ll also find characters, humor, and stories that bring every meal to life.

Our blog follows the culinary misadventures of two fictional best friends, Mullethead and Hambone, along with their equally hilarious wives, as they cook, camp, fish, explore Texas, and spread joy through food and friendship.

We don’t include “Jump to Recipe” buttons at the top of our posts because the journey matters. Our readers come for the laughs as much as the lamb chops. Recipes are always included (and easy to spot!), but we invite you to enjoy the full experience—the characters, the dialogue, and the heart behind every dish.

Eathenet is more than a recipe site. It’s a humorous escape into a world where food brings people together, every meal tells a story, and a mullet haircut is just the beginning of the fun.
